That was interesting paperback! To be honest I have a lot of trouble understanding the Catholic Church. They denied one of my uncles a Catholic funeral, because he was a suspected suicide. The Christian teaching brothers beat my cousin with such ferocity and frequency that he felt forced to leave his 'A' level course. He was plagued with nightmares for years after those experiences. Maybe you do have to be a poet to reconcile and harmonise yourself with the institution.
