I know the thread had to be closed, which is a shame, but I did say I’d make a playlist of the songs that got recommended, so here it is. I didn’t get everything, because I couldn’t find all the songs on Spotify* and not all the versions are the ones I’d necessarily go for - again limited by what was available. Do feel free to add other recommendations of songs that were composed during the folk revival that became popular ones to sing at folk clubs and singarounds, but please can we stay on topic this time? Apologies if any of your recommendations are missing - it’s an incomplete work in progress! Revival Songs playlist * Spotify stinks because they underpay musicians, but it’s a great medium for creating & sharing playlists.
