Phil Shapiro ran Bound for Glory, a radio programme with live performers in front of a live audience, from the coffee house in Willard Straight Hall of Cornell University from 1967-2020. Web sources indicate that while the radio programme continues, it is no longer run from a public venue. When I attended Bound for Glory in the 1970s, it felt more like a folk club than a radio production. |
