12 February 1929   Death of British socialite, stage actress and producer, Lillie Langtry nicknamed "The Jersey Lily". Lillie Langtry was the inspiration for The Who's 1967 hit single "Pictures of Lily", as mentioned in Pete Townshend's 2012 memoir, Who I Am.
