Our old desktop (10 years old-ish) runs Windows 10 but cannot go to 11. I would go for Linux myself but Mrs G loves Windows so it looks like we are stuck with that. It has recently started blue screening with critical structure errors so I have been replacing the bits I can do at little or no cost. I replaced some duff dimms and it was the same. Tried a higher spec PSU - same. I have installed a new copy of Windows and thought that had cracked it but after 24 hours it crashed again.

Do I splash out on a higher spec PC that I can upgrade to Win 11 or does anyone have any other suggestions. Apart from replacing the Mrs :-D
