Permanent Closure of County Sales
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of County Sales. After more than fifty years as a brick-and-mortar record store and the world’s premier source for Bluegrass, Old-Time and traditional American musics in Floyd, Virginia, the Handmade Music School board of directors has voted to terminate the business as of April 30, 2024.

Beginning today, 3/22/24, all inventory is 30% off both in-store and online. County Sales will be open Saturday 3/23/24 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday 3/24/24 from 12:30 pm to 5 pm. We will resume our usual hours of Wednesday-Friday 10 am to 5 pm with future weekend openings to be announced.

We at County Sales earnestly thank our more than half-century's worth of supporters, customers and friends. It has been our honor to serve you and we wish you all prosperity and much great music to come.
