It’s June 5, 2024, and my morning devotional was Psalm 63. Verse 2 says, “I have seen You in Your sanctuary and gazed upon Your power and glory.” Suddenly, this song started playing in my head, but I could only remember “glory and Your power.” I started asking the Holy Spirit to remind and recall other lyrics to me. Finally, I got to this song, read your page, and listened to the song on YouTube. It was very popular at Mass at my all woman’s Catholic college I attended between 1971-1975.

I don’t know if you or anyone reading this knows song lyrics, but I’ve been looking for a song that we sang frequently at Mass, however I can’t find it.   Some of the lyrics are: shake a petal from a stem; for we close our eyes to beauty; stumble over miracles, Lord let this blindness end. I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Maybe it was written by one of the college girls and never recorded ???????.   If anyone can help, I’d certainly be most appreciative.
