There was a free spirit in old Port Townsend
In old Port Townsend liv-ed she
And she off a dancing and singing did go
Did go, did go
To every session in that fair city

She lived and she loved and she did it with zest
She lived life with passion and flair
And left this life dancing and singing all night
All the night, all the night
Now she’ll be singing and dancing up there

And we left behind will remember her well
Now she’s taken her final bow
Remember her smile and her laugh and her joy
And her joy, and her joy
May we find blessings in memories now
