Blues is part of the folk tradition, of course... Sad news re the death of John Mayall whose influence during the sixties and beyond has been immeasurable. An important and legendary figure in the sixties British Blues Boom. His band featured at different times, Eric Clapton, Peter Green and many more. I was fortunate to see him play once in the nineties when he actually had Peter Green there as a guest. There are no doubt many stories and memories among members here.
