Poverty Knocks attributed to Tom Daniel of course died in 1970 ~ Tom believed to have "remembered" the verses made up by the mill worker lasses ~ as far I know the tune was an original A number of other songs sung by Tom and very likely still in Mick Haywood repertoire ~ from him Bill Price died 1980, Wendy in Whitby both knew him very well "Mary O Mary" has an interesting tune and Tom borrowed one or two tunes Ray
