Well, the tune was used for 'Donald Where's Yer Troosers' - by Andy Stewart, and I as I recall Morris Blythman [Thurso Berwick] wrote the Wee Prince Charlie lyric. Morris used part of a Gaelic Horo older song, which I remember hearing sung in the late 50s, maybe by Kittie and Marietta MacLeod.
