I read the bit about the "National Popular Vote Interstate Compact". I won't hold my breath because it also involves getting states to agree to something almost as hard as a Constitutional Amendment. "Together, states in the compact have 195 electoral votes. So we just need a few more states with at least 75 electors to join the compact and it’s done." Right.."Naturally, this plan will face legal challenges. There are a lot of powerful interests who stand to benefit by maintaining the current system."
