Ye fancy a nice hot pie supper, The thought has ye lickin yer lips, But money is tight so tae keep on the light Ye’ll have tae forget fish an chips…cos Ye cannae get warmer wi Starmer Ye’ll have tae pit up wi the cauld Yer man has the flu and yer fingers are blue …but Ye’ll never get warmer wi Starmer. If yer auld and yer cauld there’s nae answer, The pair folk must suffer the brunt, It’s eatin or heatin, there’s nae chance o cheatin, Oor country’s noo run by a crook….for Ye cannae get warmer wi Starmer Ye’ll have tae pit up wi the cauld Yer man has the flu and yer fingers are blue …but Ye’ll never get warmer wi Starmer. Nae money for gas or for leccy A blanket tae wrap roon yer knees. Some candles at night while ye pray for the light An hope there’s an end tae the freeze…but Ye cannae get warmer wi Starmer Ye’ll have tae pit up wi the cauld Yer man has the flu and yer fingers are blue …but Ye’ll never get warmer wi Starmer……naw Ye’ll never get warmer wi Starmer.
