Seems like Emperors have a tendency to roam. I did visit Antarctica a few years back, and one of our land visits was to Port Lockroy, a British Antarctic survey base. There were plenty of the usual gentoos and Adelies, but one of our staff members spotted a lone Emperor - “many miles off course” was his verdict! | |||
