I've only seen Michael Gill playing once - he did Tuesdays and it was (as far as I know) a purist Irish session, not my thing. I hadn't heard that he stopped. He did leave TheSession, I think. Their most interesting and most banned member. I'm not surprised he quit after one too many "you can't say that here"s from Jeremy. I packed it in long before for the same reason.
