As for the ironing board….we once booked him for our festival which was to be played in the local Academy theatre, so he asked if we could supply a decent piano for him. Of the two uprights in the school, one was apparently screwed to the floor on the floor above so couldn’t be brought down to ground floor while the other, on the ground floor couldn’t be relocated to the stage. So Michael just brought his usual electronic keyboard and ironing board!
