For any visitors to Edinburgh who enquire where to go to hear or play music, I will usually include Sandy Bell’s on the list: and Captains Bar and The Royal Oak are not far away, so if you don’t like one, you can try the others. Some of the other pubs are good too, but not all of them have music every day of the week, whereas these three do.
