Yes, I am quite aware that many poems have been set to music, including those of Thomas Hardy. Historic poems are readily available and nicely indexed at many excellent websites. There is no need to duplicate those collections here. This is a discussion forum. If you want to post something and discuss it, fine. If you want to just dump shit here, use a toilet. That being said, the poem Tim posted is a gem, and certainly worthy of discussion. But you, Sandman, have not posted a single poem or bit of information in this thread.
