As someone who was a trad purist in the 60s/70s (but eventually grew up) I thoroughly enjoyed the film and am now a latterday fan of BD's early work. Ironically I was weaned on the sort of stuff performed at Newport, but became a purist obsessive when I hit on British trad stuff c1965. I think we could possibly see a big revival of interest in BD's early stuff amongst the young because of this film.
