Thanks for all your research, Desert Dancer - much appreciated!
Saw the movie yesterday, here Down Under - I enjoyed it, and the memories it invoked.
I was in 1st year high in '64 (not long turned 12) and just couldn't get enough of pop music (of which Folk was a big part), but only had the radio to listen to as my pocket money didn't stretch to LPs at that stage - and TV was in its infancy in remote, isolated West Aussie!!!
But over the ensuing years, I got a good grounding in Folk & Blues music and musicians; Dylan & Baez being a big part of my early journey at least, before I was besotted by the full-bodied harmonies of England's The Watersons et al!!
