Years ago I swore by La Bella Silk & Steel for my old Epiphone Serenader, then they seemed to disappear. I tried Elixir and hated them, found them too "slippy" used D'Addario for awhile before I found Newtones which I use on both my 6 and 12 string guitars. I find they last really well, and are a joy to play when new.
