Fred, I probably don't need to tell you that Cooder is much more than a great slide guitarist. Early on he was recognized as one of the best at doing the Blind Blake thing but he's also adept at playing a variety of instruments which he's used to make some stunning music over a long and varied career. Of the many things he does I'm really partial to his electric fingerstyle playing on songs like The Tattler and Teardrops Will Fall.
