strangely enough I borrowed Thud & Last Continent from the library last week - I always check that shelf. Naturally I loved Last Continent - & have acquired a shelf (2' wide & almost full) of his books, most of them second-hand, since the thread started. I'm a member of 2 Local Govt Libraries - my council shares a suburb & a library with the next LGA & both allow 20+ books - & I usually borrow too many books (there's no such thing as too many library books except when I'm pulling my shopping trolley up 38 stairs!, & I still often read one book a day. I don't have a TV to wast my time. sandra
