The gulls in Padstow sit on the rubbish bins by the benches where we all sit to eat our pasties (by the way, the pasties from the Chough bakery on the Padstow harbourfront are the best in the west...) and make eye contact all the time, Sandra. I love that and I talk to them and they like it! Mind you, I am getting old...
