None of them. That was just Pan books trying to flog his work. Interestingly and on the same subjectof nudity, he believed the 1970's adaption of 'To the Devil a Daughter' was obscene and refused to allow any more of his books to be filmed. In the 1930's 'The eunuch of Stamboul' was filmed as 'The spy in white' (I think) with James Mason. It wasn't bad by the standards of the day. He could tell a good story sometimes. Not sure I would reread or re-watch it though. | |||
