Susan Baggyrinkle, Swansea Shantymen. A baggywrinkle or bag o' rinkle is one of those big furry things, made from teased out old rope, you see in the rigging on sailing ships which prevents the sails chafing on the mast stays. We just left out the "w". It's a good ice-breaker at gigs when people come up and ask "What's a baggyrinkle, is it anything to do with the way you look?"BG LOL Mike
