GUEST,The Celtic Bard Help: Come save our Renaissance Festival (42) RE: Help: Come save our Renaissance Festival 23 Apr 01

MMario, unfortunately I have absolutely no control over when the Festival is held. Yes, the thought crossed my mind too but there is nothing that I can do about it. Unless the owner wants to rescedule, we don't have much of a choice.

Karen, it is not as bad as it seems or sounds. We are in a park and at least a mile from our nearest neighbor (who doesn't own cows or horses). We have woods on one side and a big grass field on the another (without cattle or horses in it). We have had no problem with an animal smells (even from the jousting horses) or with flies. The nearest horse-owning neighors are five miles down the road. I know that the best thing to do would be to change the time of the Festival, but like I said above, I have no control over that. Plus there is only a limited window of time when you can hold outdoor events without freezing in the winter or baking in the summer.

Please come and give us a try anyway.

Thank you.
