The Marquee club closed? I went to the Wardour Street version in 1977 and saw Five Hand Reel play for the release for their album "For a' That" what a great show. The announcer had said, "after six months of this punk shit, we finally have a band that knows how to play."

In the Chicago area, I miss being able to see acts at Holsteins. It seems here these days that we either have big acts at the Old Town School, or acts that used to play Holstein's playing in the suburbs. The area needs a place a step above the No Exit where people can play that can't fill the Old town school.
