Need lyrics: Two little boys had two little toys, Each had a wooden horse. Gaily they played, each summer's day, til one little chap had a mishap, broke off his horse's head; cried for his toy, then laughed with joy, as his young comrade said:
Climb up here pal, don't be crying, I'm sure my horsey can carry you. Climb up here pal....(lost words)..he'll take us into the ranks of blue. (more lost words), our horseys will not be toys ...and, someday we'll remember when we were two little boys.
I think this song was of the civil war era -- can't find the lyrics. My sisters and I remember our dad singing the song, but we can't seem to get all the words together. Any help is greatly appreciated. Lee
