Semper Fidelis Phil - I had a brother-in-law who was a 60 gunner with the 26th. to Liam's Brother - You are most welcome To my Dad who flew 25 missions in Europe as a Tail Gunner in B-17s, my Uncle Norm who was wounded in the Pacific with a construction Bn., My Uncle Pete who came home safely from Korea, My Uncle Dick for surviving his destroyer being sunk at Leyte Gulf, My Great-Grandfather Cole for his service in the Cavalry during the Mexican-American War, My Great by 6 times Grandfather for serving with the Illinois Volunteers as a Rifleman until he lost his leg to a Southern Minnie Ball at Fair Oaks, and my Son for providing me with 2 of the most beatiful Grandchildren and a Daughter-in-law who loves us all. And Thanks to all of you who remember that this day is special. I'll spend part of it with the Idaho Bluegrass Assn. playing music. And to my Sweet Wife who tolerates my weirdness when I remember too much. The eyes of youth - 36 years ago and it is like yesterday.
