To my Dad who flew 25 missions in Europe as a Tail Gunner in B-17s, my Uncle Norm who was wounded in the Pacific with a construction Bn., My Uncle Pete who came home safely from Korea, My Uncle Dick for surviving his destroyer being sunk at Leyte Gulf, My Great-Grandfather Cole for his service in the Cavalry during the Mexican-American War, My Great by 6 times Grandfather for serving with the Illinois Volunteers as a Rifleman until he lost his leg to a Southern Minnie Ball at Fair Oaks, and my Son for providing me with 2 of the most beatiful Grandchildren and a Daughter-in-law who loves us all.
And Thanks to all of you who remember that this day is special.
