Some translations fer Sassenachs, Screives = writes, Wheesht = shut (up), (be) quiet, Sicht = sight, Bluid = blood, Unco = (adj)uncanny, strange,weird, (adv) uncommonly, extremely, Guid = good. Quines = women.
"Unco Guid" has come to mean "The Rigidly Righteous"; Robert Burns used (penned?) the term in the poem I used as my original:-
