Well, I hope I'm not too late in expressin' my huge thankfulness to ALL those who arranged the Sing. Capt. Steve and Sharon, what a wonderful place you have at China Seas!! If I'd had the money, I would've bought a good third of your stock! I must say that of the sea songs we sang that last Saturday there, most of em' were new to me. I like Chanties fair enough, but guess I'm more of a sea ballad type. And Charlie, I timed those songs you didn't want me to sing (Harbo & Samuelson amongst them) and must say that because they have a much quicker tempo than a lot of the chanties we sang, they would've not taken any longer than the chanties. I apologize that I didn't have many taken to memory. After all, this was my first group sing. If you ever hear of other sea singers on the North Shore of Lake Erie (eerie!), pass em' my way. :-}
