KA1CFA QTH Connecticut. Did the whole bit DXCC. Now if I make 6 contacts per year I'm lucky.. Why bother, More fun on the Dell PC. I loved Ham Radio but I see it totally outmoded. Was a Boy Scout merrit badge counsler operated K2BSA at the national Jamboree and found that the boys really are not interested in doing the work to get a ticket. Got in to an argument at "the mother church" in Newington about Morse code. The only argument they had is that code always gets through. My answer was when has it been used last to get through. Somehow it should be revamped if we are to get new and the younger kids into Ham Radio. How about getting a Ham net going on this.. 73's Allan -.-. --.-
