The Bok, Muir and Trickett digressed to this so I thought I'd start a new thread & keep this dicussion going. Just for the record, all the Golden Ring recordings are now on cd- I'm the happy owner of all! They really formed me as a musician and harmony singer. And Sandy and Caroline Paton are singing on- they just sang at my school in NH a few weeks ago and the kids are still asking when they're coming back! Sandy and Caroline have done so much for folk music- any stories out there?
