For the past couple of weeks on the CKUT folk show, Mike has been playing songs from "Sweet and Lowdown," a jazzy new CD by Dave Van Ronk. The first time he played it, Mike mentioned that Dave was a friend of his and that it was the world debut of the CD. I really like what I've heard of it so far, so I made an advance order. According to CDNOW, it's going to be released on June 26. They don't have a track listing yet, but the songs I've heard Mike play are "I'll See You In My Dreams," "Comes Love" and "Sweet and Lowdown."
