I received my Dad's flag on Christmas Eve 1989 at his funeral. Later, I gave it to his grandson (my nephew)to whom Dad was a hero.

I would never have given it up, but I discovered that I had also received (or, had always had) my Dad's heart.

The flag hangs proudly in nephews home.
