You betcha! Story is that when they played Memphis in '66 they wanted to meet the stars that recorded for Stax and Sun after the evening performance. They got to meet some of them. SO, not only did the Beatles INFLUENCE others including American artists, American (and other cultures) influenced them. What goes around, comes around.
