I remember when I was trying out for a local TV show and I came in to see folks that I thought were much better than me pacing the floor and doing all sorts of funky things that told me they were really uptight. One after one, they came out from their audition looking like they had been through a meat grinder. I thought, what's going on in there? One fellow even fainted. Came my time and I went in. They did all the set-up stuff and then said, show us what you have. I just strummed my dulcimer like there was no tomorrow and tapped my feet and SMILED to the camera and had a lot of fun. I got the little music bit in the show because the producer said that I 'looked' like I was having fun! Which I was. Sooo, HAVE FUN!
