The Lighthouse Folk/Music Club meets every other Thursday at 8:30 upstairs in the Lighthouse Pub, Coombs Rd, Halesowen, West Midlands. Evenings are informal and consist of Acoustic Singers/Musicians Sessions (all genres welcome) and the occasional guest night. At the moment we are selecting guests from the rich source of local talent available, giving them a chance to sing more than just a couple of songs and therefore hone their performance skills. Dates for June-September 2001: Thursday 28th June - Singers/Musicians Night Thursday 12th July - Singers/Musiciians Night Thursday 26th July - Guest - Anne Adams (Mix of Folk & Contempory) Thursday 9th August - Singers/Musicians Night Thursday 23rd August - Ken & Tom (Mix Blues & Cajun) Thursday 6th September - Singers/Musicians Night Thursday 20th September - Guest - Bryn Phillips (Singer/Songwriter )
