I'm not sure what Mary is concerned about . . Like Jock Morris, I can't think of any anti-war songs which attack the poor sods who have to actually fight in them . . Not forgetting that some of the strongest opponents/critics of Vietnam were "vets".
Of course these days the US has refined war to the point where none of their forces have to fight in them - that way they can continue indiscriminate slaughter without upsetting their TV viewers at home.
