Yep, they can sure bowl you over sometimes!! It kind of sounds like something a group of adolescent girls would pass around and giggle over at school(My twelve-year-old included!) Do you think she was deliberately trying to shock you, to see how you would react? Is she seeking information/education? My kid desperately wants her peers to think she's cool and knows it all already, but when I sat down with her for a serious, (non-reactive on my part) heart-to-heart, turned out there was a lot of stuff she was confused about.
