I was at a traditional Newfoundland Kitchen Party last week and this guy, in his late sixties, who was once a singer on a CBC program(in the 60's) sang a portion of this song. He said he couldn never recall the last three verses and would love to know them. He asked me if I could find it for him or if I knew someone who might know it. I am a journalist and I think he might have thought I would have some connections. I do however love a challenge and I knew this song was going to be a challenge since his niece had even done some researching when she was in Ireland and had come up empty. You my friend...I thank.
