Eh, I don't think she's so terribly mad. I meself have taken the leap into Yawning Death (once, about ten years ago), and whatever you may think of the sanity involved, it's an experience to remember.

Mine was a static-line jump all on my lonesome, but I don't think that school does them that way any more. Insurance companies like tandem jumping better. After that jump, I went and got my pilot's license, but I still have one more landing than I do takeoffs.
