Alison, You must have eaten too much Turkey or imbibed too many balls of malt. The only reason why musicians don't pay tax in Ireland is because the Government doesn't know about it. Anyone wth a titter of wit is paid in cash. Nothing goes "through the books" and everyone is happy - except the revenue man, of course. Too high a public profile, of course, may lead to difficulties. It's entirely up to you and the promoters. I was badly caught out in the '60's and never forgot the lesson. Annraoi
