Annegi, Mick is a great writer, and a great performer, I have listened to him from singer of traditional song, through Moving Hearts, and on to the last four self penned albums. His songwriting just gets better and better. He is much underrated.
The last time I had the chance to see him solo, 10 or more years ago was at a ?Celtic Connections gig with an audience of myself and about 20 others, he still turned in a stuning set. He was back a few years later playing a Songwiters concert in the main Concert Hall with Jimmy McCarty and Dougie McLean, which was sold out, it was great to see him get the audience he deserves. Anybody know what he's up to these days?
As for getting songs into the DigiTrad you post them on a thread with Add Lyr and with luck they'll get harvested. I think most traditional songs make it, I don't know about songs copyright songs, if there is a problem. I'm sure J.O. or someone will answer that.
ps I've just added the third verse to the "Past the point of Rescue" thread> love, john.
