So, there's this sea chanty which I have only ever heard performed by one of those college a-capella groups, nad I like it a lot (even figured out chords etc.

Anyhow, I'm wondering whether it's traditional, or whether somebody wrote it recently.

Starts like this:

When sea was worth me trustin' and me youth was on me side I met a pretty lass I hoped i'd ask to be my bride

I can type up the whole thing if folks are interested. Anyone heard this before?
