Thanks v much to all who run Mudcat, and to everyone who contributes to the threads & to the database. Since I have been visiting I have been given good advice and encouragement on how to refurbish my old guitar, how to approach songwriting, and how to enjoy performing without worrying about every little thing. Mudcat is a wonderful community, and being a part of it has given me personally the confidence to go out and sing and play and just enjoy it (I could get addicted tho). It has also allowed me to pass on to my father the lyrics of a song he thought he had lost forever - When Joneses Ale Was New - which he learnt at the top of a Cherry tree as a boy, and had for years hankered after the lyrics of.
