I guess it would be easy to shrug my shoulders and wipe the tears and say this was another sad story of our times. I want to say he fell through the cracks, but he didnt. If he was in foster care at all he didnt fall through the cracks. Any time a mother stands by and allows her children to be abused, physically or verbally she should be held accountable. Anyone who agrees with that has never lived the story themselves. Until we as a society can learn to treat each ourselves and each other with love and respect there will be stories like this one.
