You will need to get 5 or 6 committed singers to get it going. We ask for a voluntary contribution of £1.00 ($1.50) and we run an occasional raffle. This gives small funds and we use this to invite a guest from somewhere outside our area. This acts as a stimulus to the other members, giving us all variety, and at the same time the incentive to learn new material. We find it works very well.
