I was living in Rochester NY in the mid-60's and used to watch a show on public television (then known as educational television) called RAINBOW QUEST that was hosted by Pete Seeger. I found out years later from Pete's autobiography that this show was on in only a very few markets and for only a short time, so I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time. I remember seeing Buffy St Marie, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Mississippi John Hurt, and many others (including a woman who played "You Are My Sunshine" on a balloon) on this show. Does anyone else remember seeing the show? Does anyone know who else performed? Does anyone know if the shows are available on videotape?
